Along with my quilting hobby came the passion for quiltbooks: beautiful books full of inspiration, perfect to look through while drinking a nice cup of tea. The covers alone promise lots of beautiful stuff. And so I have assembled a nice pile of books since my first quiltlesson. Take this one, Japanese Quilt blocks, to mix and match by Susan Briscoe. I bought the book during my lunch break today, with a gift certificate I forgot I had in my bag (you see, not cleaning out your bag very often has its advantages). I liked the cover so much, I bought it without having looked in it. When I got home and got it out of the plastic I wasn't disappointed, there's lots and lots of beauty in it!

Het lijkt me een prachtig boek, heerlijk om jezelf zo af en toe een cadeautje te geven.
Hé, dit boek heb ik van de Sint gehad!
